Cancel Culture

What do we want to get by canceling people?

I am not a fan of cancel culture or canceling people or ruininig their lifes.

I like accountabllity and just have facts and data with what the people said or did to hold up. But I dont see much upside in hate mobs of cancelers. I can see them going from one person to another and going after me at some point for the website since use my 1st Amendment right and just have all the public info placed in nice pages for all those that would want to read and understand history.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
